It happens only in India!

In Laloo land no less!

Reminds me of the story of the KLM flight was scheduled to land in the new Hyderabad airport on the day it was inaugurated. And how the pilotthat  in his confusion diverted the flight to Delhi, was refused permission to land and went on to Bombay instead! Just imagine the poor passengers who think they’re done with their journey and then the pilot says na-na-na-na-na and leads them on a cross country ride!

  1. okay responding to the previous post – i have a post scheduled for something similar. people are strange. what to do.

    Oh bring it on!

  2. I would hate to be in such a situation! But how could the pilot not know where he was supposed to land!!!

    I know! I mean he could have hovered around the Hyderabad airspace for even an hour if he wasnt getting clarity on where to land!!

  3. tee hee…the poor passengers! As for your other post….all I will say is “I understand!”

    Thanks! Happens all the time I guess!!

  5. Hi ,

    I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don’t you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Good day sunshine’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

    BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run http://www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

    This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. 🙂

    Cheers,
